My Philosophy
Always be the best that you can be and there is no such thing as “luck” in being successful!
Luck happens when preparedness meets opportunity.  Many years of being in different aspects of customer service have formed my philosophy:  “If you make the customer your #1 priority, you will be successful.” This will drive your desire to develop a multi-step process which includes:  Being knowledgeable of the product; presenting the product well; follow through the details post contract and maybe more important that anything – genuinely care about your customers and have their best interest at heart!

Education
Being born in rural Mississippi as "#7" in a family of 11, my education began at an early age.  Watching my parents eke out a living as a sharecrop farmer and trying to generate enough income to support our large family was my first experience in learning that hard work and responsibility builds strong character. There was always plenty of food – especially food for the soul – which included attending church every time the doors opened at a church up the road and where my relatives were at least half of the congregation! This experience built the integrity that I learned is so vitally important to be best that you can be! At the age of 17, I moved to Jackson, MS to attend Draughon’s Busi

 My Philosophy
Make everyone happy. I know that sounds a bit simple, but that truly is what my philosophy is about. In the customer service industry, that’s what everyone is looking for. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone to Lowes and had one of the most thoughtful employees walk around with me to show me new plans, gadgets for my garden, and I completely enjoyed my time. It’s what makes me go back each and every time. That’s exactly what I aim for.

Education
Well, I still am a “young’in”… 23 to be exact, but I do love learning. I’ve gone through high school, some college, but most of the things I know today were done through trial and error. I think that’s one of the best ways to educate yourself. You learn what works and what doesn’t. Now on the real estate side, I’ve learned everything I know from Joanie. ;-)

Experience
I’ve been in the customer service industry for over 8 years now. I started out at Winn-Dixie as a bag-boy and worked my way up from there. On January 24th, 2004, I ran across an ad in the News Herald and found myself working for Realty Executives. That’s where I met the Miller & Miller team (now Miller & Associates Realty). After only days, I knew this was where I wanted to be. About a year later, I started studying real estate and eventually took my real estate license exam and passed. I don’t sell, but I think that everyone involved in a real estate office should take the course and learn the laws, ethics and general knowledge of real estate practice.

 My Philosophy
Treat others as you want to be treated” has been my life motto. Whether it’s a family member, a friend or the person next to me in line at the store, how I meet the world in which I live tells my story. Each encounter, divinely placed, allows me to put my heart and soul into the situation. A person may forget what I said, but that person will never forget how I made them feel.

Education
During my early years I had the benefit of a church school education. The discipline learned there enabled me to attain an Associate of Arts degree at Gulf Coast Community College, while helping my husband embark on his career. Learning is a continuing process and presently I am pursuing my Bachelors Degree in the Florida University System. I have been blessed with four children, Sarah, Scott, Allison and Carter, who have added much love and excitement to my days. My volunteerism as a member of school advisory councils, a room mother, a cheerleading coach, a school chaperone and a campaign coordinator, has broadened my knowledge and has strengthened my commitment to my family and the importance of community service.
Experience
The City of Brotherly Love was the place of my birth and as the youngest of six children, I learned quickly that we derive our strength from our family and from the values they teach us. My parents were blue colored workers who were dedicated to providing for our needs. It was this example that influenced my work ethic. I shared my family’s love of sports while working for the Philadelphia Phillies and as a cheerleader for the Philadelphia Eagles (back when cheerleaders wore clothes!). These opportunities helped me develop my love of people and my enthusiasm to live life to its fullest.
